For us, PUSH is just a good old-fashioned passion project; done for our own fun without worrying too much about how great it is to read. It’s for that reason that we plan to release new issues “whenever” - often enough to be an ongoing project, but not often enough to feel like a job (in capitalist terminology this is called “lazy”).

Modern psychologists have rebranded this phenomenon “adult play” — getting excited about trying new hobbies without trying to be a pro at them. We think that’s where life is at, and we want our contributors to feel the same. We’re proud to welcome a mix of expert writers alongside writers who have never written before, as well as encourage young photographers and graphic designers to explore their styles. We are eternally grateful to all our contributors for their time. It’s a true display of our philosophy: young people supporting young people.
